Andrew Boshoff is Head of Strategy & Development for Global Hotel Alliance, the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, which operates a loyalty programme covering 350 luxury and up-market hotels in 61 countries, with over 3 million members.

Before joining GHA recently, he worked as a consultant and investment banker advising some of the world’s largest hotel chains and online tour operators including Marriott, Starwood, Hilton, Whitbread, Carlson and Expedia. His focus over the last two years has been using data analysis and modelling to drive more effective hotel CRM processes, particularly in the context of loyalty programmes.

He enjoys the challenge of persuading boards and shareholders to turn data findings into business initiatives. He dislikes 3D charts, dashboard data with too many decimal places and Heathrow Airport. His favourite sport is tennis and his favourite number is probably 73.
